Petra Larmo received her PhD in food science from the University of Turku in Finland. Her doctoral thesis focused on the health effects of sea buckthorn oil and berries, and she has written a number of professional papers focusing on fatty acids, sea buckthorn oil, and disorders of the mucous membranes. She is currently the head of Research and Development at Aromtech.
