New Study on Zinc and Migraine Headaches

New study reports that people with high levels of zinc have nearly 1/3 lower risk of migraine versus those who get little zinc in their diets.

Researchers surveyed over 11,000 people and their reported zinc intake.

Results: those with the highest level of dietary zinc (from food) had a significantly reduced risk of migraine, and those who supplemented with at least 20 mg daily of zinc had even greater risk reduction versus those with low zinc intake.
