Magnesium Builds a Healthy Brain
New study finds people with high magnesium intake have less age-related brain shrinkage and fewer signs of brain aging (smaller brain lesions).
Researchers analyzed health and dietary intake data from 6,000 adults ages 40-73. Those with the healthiest brains got at least 550 mg of dietary magnesium daily.
Nuts –especially almonds –pumpkin seeds, and spinach are high in magnesium.
Supplemental magnesium: magnesium glycinate chelate is well absorbed with no laxative effect: take with P-5-P (active form of vitamin B6) and Zinc.
