Are you expecting a cure for cancer to wipe away this terrible disease?
Why haven’t the top cancer research institutions been able to find a cure?
There have been billions of dollars spent in the last several decades searching for an effective treatment for cancer.
Today, we are no closer to finding a cure than we were 50 years ago.
There will never be a cure for cancer if they expect a drug to treat or cure cancer.
WHY?
Cancer develops over a vast period of time. Cancer may be growing in someone 10-40 years before it is diagnosed and treatments began.
There are so many different forms of cancer, but usually only one drug treatment. For example, 5-FU for the treatment of colon cancer.
A drug is one single molecule that affects one gene and one pathway while the cause of cancer is the result of multiple gene and pathway expressions. That’s why some doctors treat their cancer patients with a cocktail of drugs, comprised of multiple drugs.
However, cancer drugs are so harsh and toxic, which is often the case, used aggressively, the drugs kill the patients before the cancer does.
I could never understand why doctors believe using toxic and poisonous drugs will kill cancer.
Of course, prevention is the best cure for cancer, and we can lower the risk of having to deal with cancer and it’s ineffective treatment.
- Cancers associated with overweight and obesity make up 40 percent of cancers diagnosed in the United States
- More than 630,000 in the U.S. affected
We subject ourselves to many causes of cancer daily. Smoking causes 30% of all cancer. 55 percent of all cancers diagnosed in women and 24 percent of those diagnosed in men are associated with overweight and obesity.
Non-Hispanic blacks and non-Hispanic whites had higher incidence rates compared with other racial and ethnic groups. Black males and American Indian/Alaska Native males had higher incidence rates than white males.
Cancers associated with overweight and obesity, excluding colorectal cancer, increased 7 percent between 2005-2014. Colorectal cancer decreased 23 percent, due in large part to screening. Cancers not associated with overweight and obesity decreased 13 percent.
Cancers associated with overweight and obesity, excluding colorectal cancer, increased among adults younger than age 75.
“As an oncologist, when people ask me if there’s a cure for cancer, I say, ‘Yes, good health is the best prescription for preventing chronic diseases, including cancer,’” said Lisa C. Richardson, M.D., M.P.H., director of CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control. “What that means to healthcare providers like me is helping people to have the information they need to make healthy choices where they live, work, learn, and play.”
As a country, If we just stopped smoking and most Americans would lose weight, we would save hundreds of thousands of lives and $$$$$$$ – billions of dollars, plus, the agony of dealing with cancer and death brought on by the cancer itself or the toxic treatment. These two lifesaving treatments are totally possible for everyone and avoiding the horrible side effects of cancer or the treatment used to try to cure cancer.
Since the past record of treating cancer has had such horrible results, I believe a more sane approach in treating cancer should include, a low carbohydrate diet and absolutely avoiding sugar, along with many herbal extracts which are proving to be more effective than drugs. Recent research on Curcumin, French Grape seed extract, Andrographis, and Melatonin have been significantly more effective than the chosen drug treatment for cancer and with no toxic or harsh side effects.
We can stop cancer now and prevent further cases of cancer, lowering the risk of having to deal with cancer with some very simple healthy steps.

This blog represents my personal views as to how I believe we should treat diseases as well as cancer. I would advise you to consult with your physician before you change your diet or choose to add dietary supplements to your daily protocol.
